Pramila Bajracharya Thapa

FOUNDER/ CHAIRPERSON

Pramila Bajracharya Thapa is the Founder Chairperson of Hope Hermitage Pvt. Ltd. She is also the founder of Hope Hermitage Nepal (National NGO working for the right of older people in Nepal). While working over for almost two decades with INGO’s in Nepal as a Senior Manager. She experienced that the senior citizen’s issue being marginalized country like ours. Her passion toward senior citizens further enhanced her carrier in advancing the Older People’s right, advocacy, care and support with priority area of work on Alzheimer’s and related dementia in Nepal.  With the experience of care and support for Alzheimer sufferers in The Hope Hermitage care home, she further founded Hope Hermitage Elderly Care (Senior Citizen’s Home, Club and Day Care) an assertive care home for elders to live a dignified healthy life.

She is awarded with Anandi Devi National Social Award 2015 for its work on care and support on Alzheimer’s and related dementia and the earthquake response program to senior citizens of Nepal.  She was also a recipient of WoW Hope and Health honor of achievement 2017 as a Champaign of the Elderly. Mrs. Bajracharya holds a master degree in Public Adm. With exp. in leading Asia Women Leadership, GED and SEA Regional programs. She is now leading a program on elderly caregiver with special focus on elderly abuse and Alzheimer care.

Celeste Bajracharya

Managing Director

Celeste Bajracharya is the Managing Director of Hope Hermitage Pvt. Ltd. Her dedication on maintaining the quality of the service, addressing and fulfilling the needs required by the customer is truly commendable. Her early involvement in this field of ageing issue can be acknowledged through her contribution on completion of a Report on sensitization of Alzheimer’s and Related Dementia which was published by the Government of Nepal Ministry of Women, Children and Social Welfare. She has also devoted her active participation in various ageing issue
